Job Exploration Counseling
Work-Based Learning Experience

Please note that students need to complete the NYSED application process and be authorized for services by their ACCES-VR counselor.

Goal of Pre-ETS
The main goal of Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) is to provide students with disabilities a solid foundation for successful post-secondary education and competitive, integrated employment by developing their career interests and workplace skills through job exploration, work-based learning, self-advocacy instruction, and counseling on post-secondary options. These services act as an early, short-term engagement to help students explore options and prepare for their future transition from school to work.
